Yunhu National Forest Park is located in Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province. It is named because there is a high mountain lake embedded in ten thousand Mu forest in the central area of the park.

Since 2004, a large area of Davidia involucrata and Davidia involucrata were found in the forest area, which are the first class national protected plants and the second class national protected plants, it has attracted many experts and scholars from all over the country, and has received extensive attention from all walks of life.

Yunhu National Forest Park is located in Hanwang Town, 21 km away from Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, 108 km away from Chengdu City, with a total area of 1013 hectares. The highest elevation in the park is 2402 meters, and the central elevation is 1500 meters.

Located in the Northwest Mountainous Area of Sichuan Basin, Yunhu National Forest Park is a branch of Jiuding Mountain in Longmen Mountains. Dove tree, also known as Davidia involucrata, is a first-class protected plant in China. It is also a rare ornamental tree species in the world. It is endemic to China. Davidia involucrata has tall and straight trunk, thick and wide leaves, beautiful posture and beautiful flowers, which bloom from April to May every year. Davidia involucrata has no petals, and numerous male flowers gather to form a head like inflorescence. A bisexual flower grows at the top. There are two large bracts under the inflorescence. In full bloom, the bracts are white, like pigeon wings, the purple red inflorescence is like pigeon head, and the yellow green stigma is just like pigeon beak. Davidia involucrata is a dove with one eye and one beak. Davidia involucrata grew in the early Tertiary of Cenozoic 10 million years ago, so it is also known as "living fossil".

Buses are well-developed in the city. Buses arrive at every tourist spot. Most of them are sold by no one. The single ticket price is 1 yuan. The starting price of a taxi is 6 yuan. You can bargain for a taxi. For example, when you get to Jinshan, it only costs 10 yuan from the railway station. There are also rickshaws.

train

Deyang is located on the main railway line, with convenient transportation. Tourists from other provinces can go to Deyang directly by train. Tourists from Beijing can take train k117 and 1363 from Beijing west station to Deyang. You can get to the scenic spot by bus from Deyang.

Self driving

In Deyang City, enter Huashan North Road, turn 1.7km to the southwest, turn right into Hanjiang Road, 22.6km to the northwest, slow down, enter Demao Road, 7.5km to the northwest, enter 105 provincial road, 6.1km to the northwest, turn right into Mianmao Road, 9.1km to the northwest, turn right to northeast, 8.2km to the northeast, and then reach the scenic spot.
