Mituo temple in Ziyang
Mituo temple is located in Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. Mituo temple, formerly known as Dongyue Temple, was built in the Ming Dynasty and abandoned in 1950. In 1990, with the approval of the county government, it was rebuilt in the former site of Lianchi temple in Shengyang cave on the outskirts of Jiancheng.
It is a classical reinforced concrete model. It is composed of Mountain Gate, four halls, one cave, bell and Drum Tower, guest hall, monk's room, Tallinn courtyard and release pool. Covering an area of more than 20 mu, the project is vast and magnificent. It is the first Buddhist temple in Jianyang today, and a pure land where Chinese and foreign guests and Buddhist believers gather.
