Bogyeongsa
Baojing temple is located in Songluo, yingri County, gyeongshang North Road, South Korea. It is said that it was founded in the era of King Shengde of Silla (702-736), and was managed by master Rizhao of Baima temple in Luoyang, China.
It is said that during the reign of Emperor Ming of the Eastern Han Dynasty, envoys were sent to the west to seek the Dharma. They were suitable for meeting with JIAYE moteng and zhufalan, who brought the classics, eight mirrors and twelve mirrors to the East. The latter 12 mirrors are buried under the hall of the White Horse Temple, while the eight mirrors are carried from Rizhao to Silla. It has been predicted that "if we find a deep pool to bury mirrors along the east coast of the peninsula and build a temple there, the land will become the center of the prosperity of Buddhism." Rizhao found a pool 100 feet deep, that is, buried the mirror in the ground and built a temple, so it was named Baojing temple. According to documents, eight mirrors are now buried under the Jiguang Hall of the temple.
