Liaokuoshan Forest Park

Liaokuo mountain was originally named miaohan mountain. Because its main peak is higher than other peaks around, it is known as "the length of mountains". Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty sent troops to invade Yunnan in 1381 ad, and then pacified the whole territory of Yunnan. The Ming army led the Liaokou mountain and changed its name to Shengfeng mountain. Together with Cuifeng and Zhenfeng, it was called "three peaks towering green", which was one of the eight scenic spots of Qujing in the old times.

You can have a panoramic view of Qujing from the top of Mount Liaokou. Liaokuo Park in the mountains is the park with the highest vegetation coverage in Qujing City. In the park, there are animals, cherry garden, plum garden, children's paradise and monument of revolutionary martyrs. You can also see Jingning pagoda, the highest building in Qujing.

Liaokuoshan Forest Park

Located 1km southwest of Qujing City, liaokuoshan Forest Park was established as a park in 1973. It covers an area of 218 mu, including cherry blossom garden, plum garden, children's paradise and zoo. The mountains are covered with trees, the pavilions are elegant, the winding paths lead to seclusion, and the Qujing Bazi has a panoramic view.

Liaokuo mountain, formerly known as miaohan mountain, is one kilometer southwest of Qujing City. From the mountain climbing, you can have a panoramic view of the buildings, mountains and rivers in Qilin District. The forest on the mountain is dense, the bamboo is secluded, the mountain flowers are brilliant, the grass in the garden is green, and the plum and orchid are blooming. The pavilions are built along with the mountains, and the paths are winding. There are monkeys, bears, deer, peacocks and other animals in the park, which are popular with children.

Located in the southwest suburb of Qujing City. Liaokuo mountain is also famous for its peak mountain, which originated from the fact that Fu Youde and Lan Yu, the generals of Zhu Yuanjin in the Ming Dynasty, defeated the yuan army and captured the yuan army's general Pingzhang and political affairs dalima. In order to commemorate the victory of this battle, this mountain is called Shengfeng mountain. It became a park in 1973.

Introduction to the park

In 1958, when the Xiaoxiang reservoir was built behind the mountain and the highway was excavated, a large number of ancient fish fossils were found. According to expert identification, this is the earliest ancient fish fossils found in the world at that time, about 420 million years ago. The park covers an area of 218 mu, with cherry garden, plum garden, children's Park and zoo. The mountains are full of flowers, trees, elegant pavilions and winding paths. From a high altitude, you can have a panoramic view of the Qujing dam. It is a lively scene, which makes you feel relaxed and happy.

Inside the park are: Monkey Mountain, deer park and other animal tourist areas; a revolutionary monument; a statue of Xu Xiake.

At present, there is the highest building in Qujing on the top of the park, which is also the third highest building in China - Jingning pagoda. Standing on the top of the tower, Ke overlooks the whole Qujing City.

The landscape greening project of key areas in the south slope area of liaokuo mountain has been completed, with a total of 706 mu of afforestation completed
