Danuohei Village

From generation to generation, danuohei village has built houses with stone layers on the mountain. These green stones are stacked together, recording the traces of time and the changes of Sani people's life.

There are farmhouses in danuohei village, which can provide more than 300 people to eat at the same time. Ordinary families can also receive individual guests.

You can also visit Yi People's houses and have a bonfire carnival with young Ashima and AHI brothers.

Danuohei Village

Located 30 kilometers southeast of Shilin County, Yunnan Province, danuohei village is one of the pilot villages of Ashima ethnic cultural tourism ecology in Shilin County. In 2007, it was rated as the first "cultural tourism characteristic village in Kunming".

In November 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 National Ecological Culture Village" of China Ecological Culture Association.

Rural overview

From generation to generation, danuohei village built houses on the rocks on the mountain. These bluestones are piled up in layers, with deep and shallow colors, or simple or vicissitudes, recording the traces of time and the changes of Sani people's life. The unique stone landscape has won nuohei village the reputation of "village solidified by stone" and "spirit in stone". It is favored by painters, photographers and many tourism lovers. There is an endless stream of cultural people who come here all year round.

In addition to the stone landscape, there are many scenic spots worth visiting in the village: the ancient trees at the entrance of the village are luxuriant and towering, and the thick branches stretch all around, so it is difficult to distinguish the primary and secondary; the Qingshui Lake beside the village is rippling all the year round, so people who like fishing can enjoy the time here; the dense branches at the top of the village are powerful and mysterious, and the annual dense branches are even more magical .

There are five farmhouses in danuohei village, which can provide more than 300 people with meals at the same time. Ordinary families can also receive individual guests. At night, after tasting the unique flavor of the original Yi dishes and sweet corn wine, you can visit Yi People's houses, have a bonfire carnival with young Ashima and AHI brothers, or lie quietly in the stone house, watch the moon, count the stars, and listen to the sound of insects and the ups and downs of pine waves in the mountains.

Located in Guishan Town, Shilin County, Yunnan Province, danuohei village has a history of more than 600 years. It is one of the villages with well preserved Yi culture in Yunnan Province. Local residents use local materials to build houses and roads with stones, creating a unique "stone village".

By the end of 2019, there are more than 370 households and more than 1000 people in the village, with the Yi population ratio reaching 99.8%. It is close to mountains and rivers. The village has a simple appearance, pleasant scenery, profound national culture, and the villagers live and work in peace and contentment.

According to the development idea of "seeing green water and green mountains, remembering beautiful homesickness", danuohei village has made great efforts to develop rural tourism, breeding and other industries by making use of good natural ecology and human resources, and has achieved good economic and social benefits. The ancient village has taken on a new life.

In 2018, all poor households in danuohei village were lifted out of poverty, and the per capita net income of the villagers exceeded 24000 yuan.

Travel route

It's about 108 km away from Kunming. Starting from Kunming, walk along the jiushi'a tourist line to Shilin scenic ecological and Cultural Park, and then walk about 30 km to Guishan. There is a sign of "Mountain Gate" on the left side of the road
