Guanxiangzhou, located in the northeast of Kaiyun Town, Hengshan County, is the main channel of Xiangjiang River in the shape of shuttle. With luxuriant trees and trees more than 100 years old, the island is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is the best place for tourism, entertainment, leisure, swimming, fishing and summer vacation. It is the "sunset view of Hunan" in the eight sceneries of Hengshan.

It's said that guanxiangzhou was transformed from Jinniu, which is called unsinkable island. It is said that no matter how big the flood is, it is always on the water. There are Wenfeng pagoda and Wenfeng Academy on the island. When you climb Wenfeng tower and look across the Xiangjiang River, you can feel relaxed and happy because of the southward counter current and the quiet shadow. Unfortunately, Wenfeng tower and Wenfeng Academy were destroyed by Japanese bombs in 1944.

Although there are no pagodas and academies, there are still dense orange trees, camphor trees, green oasis, birds singing and no noise of the city. It is the most ideal paradise in the world. Especially at dusk, standing on the island, you can see the Xiangjiang River, Jia Bofan hanging, the gulls bathing in the sand, the setting sun shining, and the Dragon scales of the whole river shining. At this time, the scene seems to be on top of the original dragon, flying as if Teng, free as an immortal.
