Evolution of construction

In 1962, the people's Government Committee of Weifang City, Shandong Province approved the establishment of Weifang Museum.

On April 15, 1995, the construction of Weifang museum began.

On December 20, 1999, the new Weifang museum was completed.

In November 2007, Weifang museum was designated as a public welfare institution.

On December 20, 2008, Weifang Museum opened to the public free of charge

Stone art gallery

More than 200 steles and stone carvings are displayed in the gallery. No free tickets.
