Traffic information

There is a shuttle bus from Shigatse bus terminal to tarchin, which departs at 12:00 every day, 545 yuan per person.

Driving route: from Lhasa along the national highway 318 to Razi, through the border inspection station, along the national highway 219 westward to tarchin.

To go to tarchin, you must bring your ID card and the border pass containing Pulan County in Ali Region.

Accommodation information

There are simple hotels in tarchin, which are more expensive. Sichuan cuisine is the main food, and northeast cuisine is also available. However, due to the shortage of materials, the menu is not complete all the year round. In addition, due to the high cost of material transportation, the price of catering is generally expensive.
