Tanzheng Gorge

Tanzheng gorge is located in Jingyuan County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. There are steep Gorges, surging rivers, tall and straight trees and bright wild flowers. The middle of October is the most beautiful time here.

Zheng gorge was named after Dao in Tang Dynasty (2) and Xiaoguan in Han Dynasty (3).

Lianshan is connected with Yusai (4) and Lieshu controls Jincheng (5).

The shape wins, the double flow gathers, the heaven and earth looks even.

The northeast is Shenjing (8).

Notes on works

① This poem is selected from the records of Guyuan Prefecture of Xuantong. Tanzheng gorge, a Jinfo gorge, commonly known as "sanguankou", is 55 kilometers southeast of Yuanzhou District, Guyuan City, Ningxia. There is a golden Buddha in the gorge, so it is called Jinfo gorge. The gorge is 10 kilometers long, with two mountain walls. The gorge is narrow and dangerous. The water flows from the middle of the gorge. When it touches the stone zither, it sounds like playing zither, so it's called Tancheng gorge. It is said that Liupan, wating and Xiaoguan are three passes, among which Si Di lives, so they are called "three passes".

② Zheng gorge road in Tang Dynasty: there was a post road from Chang'an to Liangzhou (now Wuwei, Gansu Province) in Tang Dynasty. It passes through Jingzhou (now Jingchuan, Gansu), Pingliang county (now Pingliang City, Gansu), tanzheng gorge and watingguan in Ningxia, so it is called "Zheng gorge Tang Shidao".

③ Name of Xiaoguan in Han Dynasty In the pre Qin period, it emerged. It can be seen that the name of Xiaoguan did not begin in the Han Dynasty. In the Qin Dynasty, watingguan was set up in Wushi County of Beidi county (now Guyuan South), and Xiaoguan was set up in Chaona county (now Guyuan southeast).

④ Yusai: Yumen pass. In today's Dunhuang County, Gansu Province.

⑤ Garrison: Rob's barracks and castles in the northwest. Jincheng: Jincheng county was set up in the Ming Dynasty, which is located in today's Lanzhou city.

⑥ Heaven and earth: Heaven and earth. One Wang Ping, Guyuan County annals of the Republic of China as "a gully Ping.".

⑦ Bucket handle: also known as "dipper". That is, Yuheng, Kaiyang and Yaoguang three stars in the Big Dipper.

⑧ Shenjing: the capital of the emperor. This is the capital of Beijing.
