Continent square generally refers to Neijiang continent square

Located in Shizhong District, Neijiang City, Neijiang City, Neijiang City, Neijiang Plaza is across the river from Zhang Daqian Memorial Hall and Taibai building of Xilin park. The square is star shaped, more than 1100 meters long from east to west, 96 to 165 meters wide from north to south, covering an area of 210 mu (140000 square meters), with a greening rate of more than 75%. It is a large comprehensive city square and green center integrating collective leisure, entertainment, sightseeing and gathering, and also the largest leisure Square in Southwest China.

The whole square is composed of 15 districts with different functions, including central square area, exquisite flower area, wind bell square area, flower tree area, water theater, children's activity area, elderly activity area and service center.

Introduction to scenic spots

The construction of Dazhou Plaza is divided into three phases: the first phase started in March 2000, the main project was completed at the end of the same year, and the ancillary facilities were completed at the end of June 2001; the second phase started in August 2002, and was fully completed at the end of January 2003; the third phase started in October 2003, and was completed in November of the same year. The main components of the square are as follows:

Layout of scenic spots

Central Plaza

It is mainly paved with hard bricks, and is composed of entrance square, 1100 square meters of music fountain pool, double curved corridors on both sides, flower terrace, flower pool, chronicle monument, stone lamp, stone column, etc. six magnificent banyan trees with more than 100 years old are planted in the four corners of the central square. It covers an area of about 20000 square meters.

Green flower area

Located on both sides of the central square, the total area is about 70000 square meters. There are 25 varieties of lawns, tall trees, flowering shrubs and more than 300000 trees in large area. Among them, the 300 meter long corridor in the center of the green space is connected with the central square.

Open air performance venue

Located on the west side of the square, it is a semi enclosed amphitheater with an area of 1500 square meters and can accommodate more than 3000 people at the same time.

Kids Corner

It is located on one side of the open-air performance field, with a total area of 5000 square meters, including 3500 square meters of green area. More than 30000 trees, shrubs and flowers of 13 varieties are planted. The amusement project covers an area of 1000 square meters, with the layout of bumper car, frog jump, sea, land and air, naughty castle, pirate ship and windmill.

Service center area

On the east side of the central square is a circular service center, including catering, snack and many other functions. It covers an area of 1200 square meters and is equipped with an open-air parking lot of 1100 square meters, which can park more than 30 cars. Other ancillary facilities include a small sports ground of 3800 square meters and a gateball field of more than 300 square meters.

Garden sketch scenic spot

Close to the head of Xilin bridge, there are fountains, waterfalls, springs, streams and stone bridges in the scenic area, with a water surface area of about 500 square meters. The combination of plants and winding path has Chinese garden style. More than 20000 trees, shrubs and flowers of 55 varieties are planted, and a comprehensive service building with a construction area of more than 100 square meters is provided.

Lighting design of square landscape art

There are more than 1000 high pole lamps, courtyard lamps, floor lamps, lawn lamps, tree projection lamps, architectural projection lamps, double projection lamps, coconut tree lamps, floodlights and more than 1000 underwater lamps.
