Jiangsu Science and Technology Museum is located at the Bank of Qinhuai River in the west of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, under the Jiangsu Nanjing Radio and television tower, adjacent to the ancient forest park and Shuimu Qinhuai scenery belt. Based on the 318.5-meter-high radio and television tower in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, it is a comprehensive science and Technology Museum designed and constructed according to the concept of modern science and Technology Museum. Jiangsu Science and Technology Museum is subordinate to Jiangsu Radio and television station, with a construction area of 13586 square meters and a permanent exhibition hall of more than 6000 square meters.

Jiangsu Science and Technology Museum has five theme exhibition areas: Science and technology · wisdom, exploration · discovery, ecology · home, digital · information and life · health. Nearly 200 pieces (sets) of popular science exhibits will be displayed, including Science Theater, 4D dynamic cinema, laser theater, experimental Park, youth science and technology innovation park and temporary exhibition hall.

Historical evolution

On May 1, 2000, Jiangsu Science Palace opened.

In October 2006, Jiangsu Science Palace was officially renamed Jiangsu Science and Technology Museum.

Admission information: the permanent exhibition hall is free of charge. Science show theater and 4-D dynamic cinema are charged from 9:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. every Wednesday to Sunday. They are normally open in holidays
