Baogong tomb covers an area of three hectares, which is fully known as baoxiaosu cemetery garden and closely connected with Baogong temple.
In 1062, Duke Bao died in Kaifeng, Henan Province. The next year, his son-in-law Wenxiao carried his coffin back to Hefei and buried it in his hometown. He had been an official for many years. He was the second rank official in the Northern Song Dynasty. Therefore, the size and structure of the cemetery were built according to the burial system of the second rank official in the Song Dynasty. The whole cemetery is solemn and quiet.
The main Tomb of Baogong's tomb is a "Fu Dou type" square tomb. The epitaph of Baozheng and the coffin of Jinsi nanmu are placed in the chamber directly below it. The coffin contains the remains of Baozheng.
