Brown mountain

Wushan (also known as sibushan; formerly known as Heshan and siheshan) is located in the northern suburb of Wuhu City, Anhui Province.

Wushan is close to the Yangtze River, on the top of the mountain, overlooking the Yangtze River, with dozens of miles of docks and Yangtze River Bridge, overlooking caoguzhou. Lush forest, verdant shade, ancient ginkgo towering; wild Ganoderma lucidum, wolfberry and other more than 240 kinds of precious medicinal materials are all over the forest; all kinds of flowers and plants are fragrant and green, which is the natural treasure house with the highest green coverage, the largest nursery planting area and the richest wild medicinal materials in the city. At the foot of the brown mountain, the river is surging. Cao Guzhou, a mythical island in the heart of the river, and the brown mountain are just like a strip of water. "Brown Mountain Range Rover" is one of the ten scenic spots in Wuhu.

Wangjiang Temple

There is an ancient temple, Wangjiang temple, at the southern foot of Wushan mountain. It is said that Wangjiang temple was the first stop for the king of Tibet to practice in Anhui. Later, he traveled to Zheshan and became a Buddha in Jiuhua Mountain. The two hundred year old ginkgo trees in front of the temple stand tall and straight, separated on both sides, like an open Mountain Gate, welcoming the rolling river flowing from the foot, giving people a heroic feeling. There is an old beacon tower on the top of Wushan mountain. It is said that in the Southern Song Dynasty (1132 A.D., the second year of Shaoxing), Li Gang, the general of the main battle faction, built a beacon tower on the top of sibushan mountain in order to keep watch on the enemy's situation day and night and report to the police at any time. The only beacon tower in southern Anhui has become a historical site of interest in our city. It is a living teaching material for patriotism and national defense education of teenagers. Two thousand meters to the East are the beautiful Longtou mountain and Fengming lake. In Longtou mountain, Cangsong and Cuizhu cover the whole mountain, with tree lined paths extending in all directions. In Zilong peak, the pines and bamboos rise and fall one after another; in Fenghuang peak, the peach is red and the plum is white. Fengming lake is a natural bathing place with rippling water and clear bottom. There are many kinds of fish in the lake. Boating can be done in the lake. The island in the middle of the lake is the best place for tourists to have fun and leisure.

There is an old beacon tower on the top of Wushan mountain. It is said that in the Southern Song Dynasty (1132 A.D., the second year of Shaoxing), Li Gang, the general of the main battle faction, built a beacon tower on the top of sibushan mountain in order to keep watch on the enemy's situation day and night and report to the police at any time. Today, the only beacon tower in southern Anhui has become a scenic spot in our city and a living teaching material for patriotism and national defense education of teenagers.
