Memorial Hall of the Eighth Route Army Office in Lanzhou
The memorial hall of the Eighth Route Army Office is an ordinary old quadrangle building. Lanzhou Eighth Route Army Office was established on August 25, 1937, and was abolished in November 1943, six years and three months in total. When the office was just established, Xie Jueya arrived in Lanzhou on the flight of Eurasian airlines. He Yaozu, then chairman of Gansu provincial government, was a friend of Mao Zedong's youth and an old friend of Xie Jueya's hometown. He held a grand welcome banquet for Xie Jueya. From August 1937 to autumn 1938, Xie Juezai wrote more than 60 articles on Anti Japanese propaganda under pseudonyms of Jiajin, Wuqi, Huannan and Dunfu.
