Tangdao Bay, Qingdao

Tangdao Bay is surrounded by two headlands. The mouth of the bay is the famous Tangdao island. Tang island is very small, only 0.07 square kilometers, but it is very famous. It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty led the navy to March eastward. He once stationed on this island, so it is called Tang island. Many years ago, many ancient weapons such as knives, swords and arrowheads were unearthed on the island. However, the existing historical data can not prove that Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty actually stationed Navy here, and there was a famous naval war in the Southern Song Dynasty.
