The most famous cliff carvings on Mount Tai attract a large number of tourists. The inscription on Jitai mountain was carved on the cliff of daguanfeng in the 14th year of Kaiyuan (726). The cliff is 12.3 meters high and 5.3 meters wide. There are 24 lines of inscriptions with 51 characters. There are 1008 characters in the cliff, with a size of 16 × 25 cm. Except for the four characters of "Yu Zhi Yu Shu" and the last line of year, month and day, all of them are official script. The forehead is 3.95 meters high, and the official script "Ji Tai Shan Ming" has two lines and four characters. The size of the characters is 45 × 56 cm. The calligraphy is vigorous, graceful and vigorous. The inscription was written by Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, when he was granted Taishan Mountain. It is said that Yan Xu wrote his Ci and Han Shi ran his pen. The inscription is elegant, which is of great value to the study of history, calligraphy and engraving art of Tang Dynasty.
