Wanjingxian Valley

Wanjingxian Valley is one of the three beautiful Gorges in Shidu scenic spot. Badu village and Jiudu village are at the junction of the two Gorges. There are two tributaries and several Xugu valleys in the valley. One tributary goes south to dizian, adjacent to gushanzhai, and the other tributary goes West to Bijia mountain. Wanjingxian gully has a total length of 10 kilometers and a total area of about 60 square kilometers, including 40 kilometers of primary secondary forest. It is a typical gully landform formed by limestone erosion. Wanjingxian Valley is rich in strange treasures, full of wild interest, strange rocks and strange pines. Its fragrance is full of fragrance, and it's like a fairyland in the world. A large area of primitive vegetation at the bottom of the gully blocks out the sun. Wanjingxiangou and three boulders

At the entrance of the south ditch of wanjingxian Valley, there are two black rocks, one on one side, which are extremely strong. The one on the right is gecko stone, and the one on the left is Scorpion stone. Walking about one hundred Li, there is a black mountain stone shaped like a censer. The middle of the base is empty and only supported by three points. This is the censer stone.

It is said that long ago, the people nearby lived a happy and rich life. But it didn't last long. I don't know when an evil tiger appeared in the ditch. It came and went without a trace. It either injured people's lives or destroyed crops and clothes, which made the villagers panic. The beautiful scene in the village became desolate in the blink of an eye, and the laughter of the whole village could no longer be heard.

That summer, the queen mother went to take a bath in the jade basin pool of Gushan village. When she passed by, she saw that the village was so desolate, so she sent someone to the village to investigate. When she learned that it was the evil tiger who was making trouble, she was very angry, so she left the bodyguard tiger man and scorpion woman to subdue it.

Tiger man and scorpion woman swore: "we must catch the evil tiger." But for three days in a row, I didn't even see the shadow of the evil tiger. After another day's walk, at night, the tiger man and scorpion woman were tired and wanted to have a rest and continue to search. But before they could sit still, they saw a tiger running out of the village with a lamb. The poor lamb was still struggling in the tiger's mouth, and the blood kept flowing all the way. When the villagers saw this, they all ran around with all their lives. The tiger man and the scorpion woman rushed forward immediately to stop the evil tiger and started a fierce battle. Only the sand and stones were flying in the field, and the sky was dark. The next morning, people found that there were two more stones at the entrance of the village, one on one side, walking in, and a mountain stone shaped like a censer.

"The evil tiger has been subdued!" The good news spread like a spring breeze in the village, and people rushed to tell each other.

It is said that the mountain stone in the shape of a censer is the censer used by the queen mother to burn incense. Because there are so many evil tigers, the tiger man and scorpion woman brought the censer to press the evil tiger down. They will never be fragrant. In order to ensure that people will not be hurt by other wild animals in the future, the queen mother let tiger man and scorpion woman stay. These are the two black rocks at the entrance of the village. Now geckos and scorpions often appear in the crevices between the two rocks. Local villagers pass between the two rocks, and no one ever hurts them.

Take no.917 bus from Tianqiao, and get off at Jiudu of Shidu branch line; take No.7 outing train from Beijing South Railway Station, and get off at Shidu station to transfer to special donkey car and environmental protection battery car; take No.10 tour bus from Qianmen, Fuchengmen and Xuanwumen on public day
