The Neolithic human settlement site covers an area of about 5000 square meters. The northern part of the site is an ancient river bed, 6-7 meters from the top of the site platform, and 400 meters to the north is the cuohe river channel. In April 1984, the eroded part of the site (about 60 square meters) was cleaned up and excavated. Eight human habitation sites were found, including a stone base stove pit and a deep belly pot for human to keep fire beside the pit. It's full of charcoal. In addition, 13 pieces of pottery were unearthed, including red pottery bowl, gray pottery bowl, round foot bowl, pottery grinding plate, bird head and feather body utensils, all of which were scratched or zigzag; 25 pieces of stone tools were unearthed, including beating stone tools, plate-shaped utensils, stone knives, stone axes, stone grinding plates, sticks, and special-shaped utensils.
