Nanheng West Street

It is located in the southeast of Niujie District, with east-west trend. It starts from Caishikou Hutong in the East, connects nanheng East Street in the south, connects zaolinqian street in the west, and connects the responsible area of nanheng West Street to the Islamic Association in the West. The house numbers are NO.1-101 and no.2-92. The area of nanheng West Street is a combination of the former West Section of nanheng street and the former two streets outside the west entrance of nanheng street. It is 904 meters long and 6.5 meters wide. It was named nanheng west street when the names of streets and lanes were reorganized in 1965. The area to the north of nanheng street is densely populated. There are many shops, handicraft workshops, guild halls and houses in the street. To the south, there are many guilds and houses. During the reform movement of 1898, Kang Youwei, Liang Qichao and others held the founding meeting of the Baoguo association here, which is now the site of nanheng West Street Primary School. No. 15 is the new hall of Jingxian County, which is now the site of nanheng West Street Primary School. In addition, two six story buildings have been built on the north and south sides of nanhengxijie coal plant, and the north side was built in the early 1980s.

The area of nanheng West Street is a combination of the former West Section of nanheng Street (West of the south entrance of Caishikou hutong) and the former two streets outside the west entrance of nanheng street. It had no name at that time. It was called "Heng Street" in the Qing Dynasty, and later called Dongheng street, Zhongheng street and xiheng street. After the completion of the street, the area to the north of nanheng street is densely populated with shops, handicraft workshops, guild halls and houses. To the south, there are many guilds and houses. The new Yuedong Pavilion, No. 11, nanheng West Street, is a part of Yiyuan in history. During the reform movement of 1898, Kang Youwei, Liang Qichao and others held the founding meeting of the Baoguo meeting here. In December 1986, it was announced as a cultural relic in Xuanwu District and is now the site of nanheng West Street Primary School. No. 15 is the new hall of Jingxian County, which is now the site of nanheng West Street Primary School. With the demolition and reconstruction of shuanghuaili in the southern Baizhifang area, the closed community of property management in line with the modern urban pattern has begun to take shape. In addition, two six storey buildings were built on the north and south sides of nanhengxijie coal plant. The north side was built in the early 1980s, and the south side was completed in 1996. They were named building 92 and building 92 in the south, and the family Committee of building 92 was established. So far, there were two security committees in nanhengxijie.
