Daxing new town Riverside Forest Park is invested by Beijing municipal government and Daxing District government. Daxing District Water Bureau is responsible for the construction. The total area of the park is 538.3hm2 ^, which started in February 2010. It lasted 15 months and was open to the public on May 28, 2011. A total of 400m ＾ 3 earthwork, 266.7hm ＾ 2 greening, more than 800000 trees and shrubs, 104 species, 210000 aquatic plants, 690000m ＾ 2 lawn cover, 46.7hm ＾ 2 lake water surface and 10hm ＾ 2 ecological wetland have been completed. The investment is nearly 1.6 billion yuan.
