Development history

Personage introduction

Xu Beihong was born in Yixing County, Jiangsu Province in 1895 and died in Beijing in 1953. He was a famous painter and outstanding art educator in modern China. Yu Gong's moving mountains, written in 1940, inspires the people of the whole country to fight for the victory of the Anti Japanese War; Tian Heng's five hundred scholars, eulogizes the Chinese people His strong character is unyielding, humble and rich, and his horse is full of joy, anger, sadness and joy, which is as inspiring as his lion and morning chicken. The building area of the memorial hall is 2000 square meters. There is a white marble bust of Xu Beihong in the hall. Xu Beihong collected more than 1100 paintings and calligraphies, more than 1000 ancient and modern paintings, and more than 10000 Chinese and foreign art books, inscriptions and pictures.
