Introduction to Zhou Zhang

Zhou Zhang is the great grandson of Zhong Yong and the first king of Wu. He is called Wu Zi in Chunqiu and Zuozhuan. After the establishment of the Zhou Dynasty, Jifa (King Wu of Zhou), the nephew of Zhongyong, sent people to Jiangnan to visit the descendants of Taibo and Zhongyong. Knowing that Zhouzhang had become the king of Wu state, he was granted the title of "son".
