Xiaoyi temple was expanded on the basis of Xiaoyi square. In 1780, Emperor Qianlong paid homage to Wang Mengpeng, the 15th grandson of the Wang family, for his filial piety. In 1780, Emperor Qianlong ordered to build Xiaoyi Memorial Hall for him. In the 51st year of Qianlong's reign, the memorial hall was built and then extended to Xiaoyi temple in the first year of Jiaqing's reign. Ancestral hall sits north to south, cent upstairs downstairs two courtyard, total area 428 square meters. On the first floor of the courtyard, there are three main kilns, Chen liejingsheng's ancestral hall, Wang's tomb model and three-dimensional sculptures recording Wang Mengpeng's filial piety, which are of high artistic value. There are five main halls on the upper floor, which are the memorial tablets for ancestors. In front of them, there is a stage facing north and south. The top of the mountain is resting, and the eaves are overhanging at four corners. The plane is in the shape of "convex", which is a legacy of the stage of the Yuan Dynasty.
