Nongke village, subordinate to Youai Town, Pidu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is a national agricultural tourism demonstration site and the birthplace of "farmhouse", with 280 mu of arable land, 80 households and 278 population.

The flower area of the whole village is hundreds of mu, and there are more than one hundred rural tourism reception households, forming a production, sales and rural tourism base of bonsai with Nongke village as the center.

In November 2017, Nongke village was awarded the fifth national civilized village.

In December 2017, it won the top 300 in the 2017 influential ranking of villages.

Located in Pidu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, Nongke village is a national agricultural tourism demonstration site and the birthplace of "farmhouse", known as "a village with blooming flowers and a park without walls". It is 28 kilometers away from Chengdu City and 8.5 kilometers away from the county.

History and culture

Nongke village has a planting area of more than 300 mu (including courtyard). The main flower varieties are golden marble, gingko, osmanthus, Begonia and banyan. The pile head, bonsai and modeling have their own characteristics. A variety of high-grade woody and herbaceous flowers can be seen everywhere. It can undertake large-scale greening projects. It has become a flower supply base in Chengdu, and its products are exported to all parts of China and Southeast Asia .

Party and state leaders Hu Jintao, Wu Bangguo, Qiao Shi, Chen Muhua, Li Tieying, President of China Flower Association Jiang Zehui, and leaders of many ministries, commissions, provinces and cities visited the site in person. More than 20 national and Regional Delegation also visited the site and gave high praise. It has been rated as a provincial civilized unit, a health village, a rural urbanization demonstration village, a national ecological demonstration area and the first telephone village in Chengdu.

The main body of tourism in Nongke village of Youai town is "Nongjiale" tourism, which originated in the 1980s. Farmers make use of the advantages of their own Sichuan style bonsai and nursery to attract people to eat, watch, live in, enjoy and buy farm food.

More than 180 households (including foreign investors) are engaged in the reception of rural folk custom tourism, with an average annual reception of 120000 tourists. In the spacious and comfortable quadrangles and buildings, calligraphy and paintings are hung, among which there are many famous people's handwriting. When you are free, you can enjoy tea and flowers, read books and play chess.

People in the city go to Nongke village to enjoy the delicious food of the farmers, accept the influence of the natural scenery, and return to the nature.

There is also a scenic spot called "ziyunting" near Nongke village. Liu Yuxi, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, wrote "zhugelu in Nanyang, ziyunting in Xishu" in his humble chamber inscription. Ziyun refers to Yang Xiong, a great Confucian of the Western Han Dynasty, and ziyunting is located in Ziyun village, Youai town.

This is the hometown of Mr. Yang Xiong. In today's Ziyun village, there is still "Yang Xiong tomb", also known as "Ziyun tomb". Yangxiong tomb is one of the national places of interest. In 1985, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Chengdu.

With the goal of building the first tourism Township in Western China, agricultural science is a national agricultural tourism demonstration site. In April 2006, the State Tourism Administration awarded it as "the birthplace of China's agritainment tourism". In September 2012, Nongke village, Youai Town, Pixian County, passed the national AAAA scenic spot acceptance of the State Tourism Administration, adding a new business card to Pixian County's tourism industry.

There are two tourist bus routes from Chengdu to Nongke village of Youai town.

The tourist bus line from Chengdu tourism distribution center to Nongke village starts from Xinnanmen station, stops at Jinsha station, arrives at Nongke village from Yangxi line via Pitong street, and runs five times a day;

No. 716 bus at chadianzi station in Chengdu, from national highway 317 to Nongke village via Pixian County, departs and receives from 7:30 to 19:00 every day, with an average departure distance of 20-30 minutes.
