Xiangjiao Temple

Xiangjiao temple is located on the east side of Xingyuan temple in Kulun banner, just a wall away from Xingyuan temple. It was built in the ninth year of Kangxi (1670 A.D.), commonly known as "shangcang" ("Cang" means apartment and apartment). It is the place where zasakda Lama lived and worked. Xiangjiao temple is the center of exercising political and religious power. At the Xiangjiao temple, the geyig Lama, who was told by others, felt superior when he came out of the door and did not pay attention to the lamas in other temples. Lamas in other temples dare not enter because of non official business, so there is a popular saying that "the swallow Falcon in the temple is afraid of the sparrow in the barn". At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, there were more than 100 lamas in Xiangjiao temple.

Xiangjiao temple was seriously damaged in the land reform movement and the "Cultural Revolution". In 1986, the people's Government of Kulun banner repaired it. After the repair, the Xiangjiao temple has a new look and regains its former glory.

Xiangjiao Temple

The architectural pattern of Xiangjiao temple is different from that of Xingyuan temple. The mountain gate is inside the wall, which is a courtyard for lamas to jump to Buza. The mountain gate is a three intermittent hilltop building with three gates, big in the middle and small on both sides. Entering the mountain gate is the square of tiaobuza. In front of the square, close to the wall, there is a hard mountain eight character screen wall, which is more than ten feet long from east to west. It is like a tall screen echoing the mountain gate. In front of the courtyard is the main hall of Xiangjiao temple. There are three single eaves buildings on the top of the mountain. The hall is mainly for the Maitreya Buddha statue with one person high, so it is also called Maitreya Buddha Hall. Behind the main hall is a flower wall, and in the middle is a vertical flower gate. Stepping into the vertical flower gate is the third courtyard. Facing it are five hard mountain buildings, namely wuliangshou Buddha Hall, which is the place where zhashakda Lama worships Buddha. On both sides, there are six rooms on the top of the round hill, which are connected with the rooms in the second courtyard. It is the office of the Lama Printing Office (Office).
