Longtan Village

Longtan Village is located one kilometer to the west of the moon mountain. It has a history of more than 500 years. There are a large number of ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The ancient buildings are green bricks and tiles, and the eaves are flying dragons and Phoenix. It is one of the villages with better preserved ancient buildings in Yangshuo County.

Longtan Village is surrounded by beautiful scenery, with more than 10 natural landscapes such as lotus pond wonders, disciple mountain, fuliu'ao, rhinoceros spring, etc.

Longtan Village

Longtan Village, belonging to Xiling Township, Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the east of Pingnan County. Longtan Village is the third largest administrative village in Xiling Township, Pingnan County, Ningde City. It is located in the east of Pingnan County, bordering Siping Village and Zhongyang village of Daixi town in the East, 10km away from Daixi Town, shuizhuyang village of Jixiang township of Gutian County in the west, 12km away from tianhuding wetland, Getou village in the south, 16km away from Hetang Town of Gutian, and Sanfeng village in the north, 11km away from the seat of township government. The village covers an area of 2 square kilometers, with a population of more than 1000 people and 340 families. It governs 3 natural villages and 16 villager groups. Longtan Village used to be under the jurisdiction of Gutian County. It used to be called longtanli Village (now Longtan Village of Xiling township) in Xixi area of yifengli, Qingtian Township, Gutian County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Chen Shangong of Yingchuan County of Chen's Mazu in Longtan moved in from chenshanxia (now Dongshan Village) in Ningde during the Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty (1465-1487). At that time, there were Fu, Yang, Gao, ye, Zhou, Wei and other surnames in Longtan Village. Chen Shan and his son Chen Cai took care of Fu Jiang and Fu Hai in their twilight years, buried them and inherited the property of Fu family. The surnames of Yang, Gao and Zhou fell and collapsed one after another. The surname Wei moved to Sanfeng village.

History and Humanities

"Siping opera" in Longtan

”Chen Zhixian, the son of Ma Dynasty, and Chen Zhixian, the brother of Ma Dynasty, were well versed in Siping opera and began to perform for the gods. In the early Qing Dynasty, Chen's surname flourished and began to raise his own troupes. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, Chen's troupe was invited to perform in the surrounding areas and other villages, and prepared costumes, gongs and drums, etc. So he played the class name "kaixiangyun" and performed in Gutian and Ningde of Linxian County. According to the records of Pingnan County compiled by Shen Zongliang in 1752: "on New Year's day, worshipping ancestors and respecting elders, gongs and firecrackers were fired, and the county people performed dramas to celebrate the celebration.". According to the annals of Pingnan County compiled by Shen Zhong, the magistrate of Qianlong County in 1740, there was once a filial daughter on the east mountain outside the east gate of the city, who died for her father's injustice. Or, the surname Yunshen Dai, the people of the city performed a play to celebrate the death on the first day of June. So far, the "Siping opera" troupe in Longtan officially went to the folk.

During the period from Jiaqing to Daoguang and Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty, Longtan villagers successively set up "old Xiangyun", "new Xiangyun", "Sai Xiangyun" and other "Siping opera" troupes. During the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty, Huang Zhengshen, a Gongsheng, who admired "Siping opera" in Longtan, specially took his son from Shuangxi Town, where the old city is located, to Longtan Village to see the opera. He left behind a poem "to Chen taochuan maocai from Longtan Village to watch the Opera:" when you come to the gate, the water is murmuring, and a couch is full of mountains. Jiajing Zha Jing should stop to help people meet Kuang Kaiyan. Happy feast chicken millet Dao Yuan Bo, dance Xie Chai skirt surprised small man. Joy from the line of two or three sons, return also learn to sing Dao ring. It can be seen that the singing and performance of Siping opera are very distinctive and fascinating. "Siping opera" has been handed down from generation to generation and has retained its original essence intact. Siping opera, a valuable cultural heritage, has also been attached great importance by the state and applied for the world intangible cultural heritage.

Architectural landscape

Longtan Village is surrounded by mountains on all sides. A stream flows through the village. The stream is clear and has seven stones across the stream. The oldest stone arch bridge at the end of the village was built in the Ming Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, a bridge house was built on the bridge deck. The whole bridge is magnificent. Three natural boulders stand in the stream, with beautiful scenery. It is "Yingshui three piers, Xixi seven arch bridges". The village houses are built along the stream, and the north and South are contrasted. Xige highway across the stream, through the center of the village, is the most prosperous area of the village.

Property economy

"Longtan liquor" is a special product of Longtan. It is brewed with fresh xiaoxiquan and local high-quality glutinous rice combined with ancient technology. It tastes strong, sweet and refreshing. It is favored by people in the region and other provinces and is in short supply.
