The main building in Fengqing courtyard is Tiangong bieyuan, also known as Wangjia courtyard. The owner of the Wang's courtyard was originally ruled by Wang Zhitong in Dingxian Prefecture of Hebei Province in the Qing Dynasty. Later, his descendants moved to Hongya County. In 1780, a four entrance courtyard was built at 57 Chenghuang street of Hongya. Professor Ji Fuzheng, director of the Institute of local architecture of Southwest Jiaotong University, praised him as "the treasure of Hongya". In 2003, when Hongya County was engaged in urban construction, some famous people, such as Ruan Yisan, Feng Jicai and Ji Fuzheng, appealed to keep the old house, but the Wangs' courtyard was still demolished, and the owner registered and piled up the demolished timber. Three years later, the Pingle town government immediately decided to buy the Wangs' compound and move it to another place for protection. In this way, the Wangs' compound was moved here from a hundred miles away for reconstruction.
