Cave 12

Cave 12 is one of the most artistic caves in Yungang Grottoes. It is called "music cave". Indeed, you can feel a wonderful state like Chuang Sheng Tian Jin in this cave. This is the palace of music: This is the world of dance. The Buddha is listening with a smile and a frown on the wall; the people are obsessed with it; the musicians are playing the lute while they are holding it; the flying sky is flying in all directions; it can be said that a cave is opened, showing a gorgeous cave with gods and Buddhas dancing together.

Cave 12 belongs to the mid Yungang project. It is covered with caves 11 and 13 in a nine room wide temple. In front of the caves are four large stone pillars with exposed roofs and carved statues of thousands of Buddhas. It is the pattern of front hall and back hall. Its caves are square and square, and its top is flat and flat, which is quite different from the simple style of the horseshoe shaped plane and the curved top in the early period. It began to transition to the palace style. This is also a significant change in the second phase of the project.

Among the caves in Yungang, cave 12 is one with music and dance as its main content. It is also rare in the national grottoes. When you live in it, you look around the four walls and hold your breath. The ten Buddhas full of the four walls and the layers of flying music form a grand musical ceremony. Ling hears a kind of Buddha's voice! It's Buddha's voice, and it's also Xianbei's.

The most dazzling wall of cave 12 is the north wall of the front room, which is simply the most gorgeous wall in the grottoes on earth! You can see the Buddha smiling, the lotus blooming, the flying sky dancing, the music playing, the relief sculptures colorful and dazzling. Feitian and Bodhisattvas are arranged in different layers, and Jiyue and Buddhist niches are arranged side by side. The Jiyue and Feitian at the top of the cave form a grand hall of music and dance. Its gorgeous beauty is amazing!
