Tungpanyu is located in the southwest of Penghu Island, covering an area of about 0.4 square kilometers. It is about 7 kilometers southwest of Magong city. It takes about 20 minutes from Magong city to tungpanyu. It's a standard Fangshan type.

In the south of hujingyu, the area is only 2 square kilometers, the center is low and the East and West are protruding. The basalt of Xishan sea cliff is extremely developed, and the scenery is very spectacular. The basalt jointed stone in Dongshan area is arranged on the edge of the sea cliff, which shows a bit of masculinity. There is a "sinking city" under the sea cliff, with different legends. One is that when the Dutch occupied Penghu in the early years, they built a red brick turret (also known as loucheng) on the island. Later, the turret was shelled and landed on the bottom of the sea. When the weather was fresh and the sea was clear, the red brick city could be seen. Another is that a brick ship was wrecked and sank near hujingyu in the early years, which is not a "sunken city". So far, the mystery of hujingyu's "sinking city" has not been solved. On the contrary, it is also a pleasure to attract many tourists here to find the undersea city.

Because the central part of tungpan island is almost complete basalt terrain, and the island's famous residents live along the coast around the sea. It takes about 30 minutes to walk the whole landscape trail. Although the underwater landscape of the nearby sea area is magnificent and a happy paradise for divers, the mottled Zigu stone, red basalt with high iron content, green cactus and deep sea erosion cliff on the island are not inferior to the underwater world in color. The hot and humid climate all year round makes centipedes flourish. There are many and big centipedes in the bucket. It's easy to see centipedes racing on the cement road in the evening. It's a bit shocking. So the residents simply grab wild centipedes to brew medicinal wine. It's said that this kind of centipede wine has the function of caring for muscles and bones and removing rheumatism.

Chen Zhenxiu, one of the initiators of the art village and a resident of the paipan, hopes to build an art island with such excellent natural conditions. He invites artists from all over the province to enter the paipan, so that tourists can feel the artistic atmosphere different from other outlying islands.

Only six nautical miles away from Magong, tungpanyu is not the first stop or the last stop of the South China Sea tour, which always makes tourists exclaim at the beauty of the South China Sea.
