The water flows up

The water flows up

Water upstream is a scenic spot in Taiwan. It's located near Yuqiao, Dulan village, Donghe Township, Taitung County. It's 152k from provincial road 11 to Taitung, and it's about 50 meters to the right.

Turn about 50 meters to the roadside. Here is a farmland irrigation ditch. At first glance, the gurgling water flows along the ditch from the low to the high, which is amazing. In fact, it is because the inclination of the scenery on both sides of the road is greater than that of the road, resulting in the illusion of water flowing upward.

Because of the upward flow of water, an unimportant irrigation ditch is so famous that it often attracts tourists to watch it. Whether you believe it or not, it's worth seeing and experiencing the wonders of Taiwan.

It is managed by the National Scenic Area Administration Office of the east coast of Taiwan. It has a rest center, a parking lot and a stone tablet with the word "spectacle", making it a famous tourist attraction on the east coast.

Take the Taiwan rail to Taidong station, then transfer to dingdong passenger transport (to Taiyuan, Chenggong, Changbin, Jingpu, Hualien), or Taiwan haohang sea line shuttle bus to shuixiangshangliu station.

Take the dingdong passenger sea line bus from Taidong city to Taiyuan, Chenggong and Jingpu, get off at Dulan station and follow the signs.
