Jiqi waterfront recreation area

Jiqi Bay, located in Fengbin Township, Hualien County, is about 40 kilometers away from Hualien City. Surrounded by mountains, it has a beautiful scenery. Jiqiao beach has a 2.5 km long soft and moist beach. When the tide rises in winter, the sand and stones on the bottom of the sea come up in gray black. When the tide fades in summer, the sun shines on a golden beach. It is a place suitable for water recreation. At present, it has been developed into a seaside recreation area, including bathing beach, flying parachute take-off field, wooden camping area, restaurants and other recreational facilities. It is a perfect place to play in the water and tide on the east coast in summer.
