history

Zhamu town with a long history was the capital of ancient Bomi local government. The primitive forest region of Bomi is one of the three largest in China, where all kinds of subtropical crops can grow. Bomi people are good at swordsmanship. They have long and short swords. They are said to be the offspring of Jiachi, the young son of Zhigong Zanpu. Because of the remoteness of Bomi, King Bomi was able to live in this place for a long time, and could coexist with Tubo orthodoxy. It was only during the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty that it was under the jurisdiction of the Tibetan local government.
