The source of Yaojiang River

The source of Yaojiang River is located in the east slope of zuomiangtou, Dalan village, Dalan Town, Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province, about 45 kilometers away from the urban area. It is the source of Yuyao River, the mother river of Yuyao people. Here, surrounded by mountains, the forest is green. When the water vapor is sufficient, the clouds and mist are shrouded, and the ten thousand mu tea sea is looming. When people enter it, they feel like they have entered a fairyland on earth.

In 1990, Yuyao municipal government organized an investigation team to investigate the source of the river. After three years and four times of on-the-spot investigation and measurement, it submitted a report and passed the confirmation of Zhejiang provincial expert evaluation committee on March 3, 1993. The final conclusion is that the source of Yuyao river lies in the East slope of zuomiangtou, Dalan village, Dalan town. With an average altitude of 550 meters, surrounded by mountains, green forests and ten thousand mu tea gardens, it is one of the birthplaces of the three major water systems of Yao River, Cao'e River and Fenghua river. When the water vapor is sufficient, the clouds are shrouded, and people enter it, just like entering the fairyland of the world. The source of Yaojiang River is composed of two spring wells, one in front of the other in the back. Whether it is dry or frozen, the spring water flows continuously all the year round. On the top is a stone tablet carved with five big characters in bold script of "Zhengyuan of Yuyao River". About 30 meters to the west, there are several big characters of "Yaojiang source" and "youth forest" inscribed by BA yinchaolu, Secretary of Jilin provincial Party committee (former member of Standing Committee of Zhejiang provincial Party committee and Secretary of Ningbo Municipal Party committee).
