Xipu park is located 4 kilometers northwest of Chengjiang County in Yunnan Province, next to Luobu village, Longjie Town, and at the foot of Liangwang mountain.

brief introduction

Xipu park has a karst hill with a relative height difference of about 60 meters and a spring pond with an area of 8400 square meters. The depth of the pool at the spring outlet is about 1.5-2 meters, and the pool area is about 22 square meters. There are about 12 meters long and 4.5 meters high single span flat bridge, Longgang temple, Longquan Temple, stage, Guanyin temple and Jianfeng Pavilion in Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are martyrs' Mausoleum in the park, wooden pavilions and pavilions on the water surface of quantan pool, zigzag corridors on the water, and a 30 meter long blue dragon in the water. There are artificial trees, flowers and plants, forest road system in the park.

Panlonggang mountain at the back of the park is a karst mountain, on which the ancient trees are luxuriant. There are springs in the karst cave at the foot of the mountain, with a flow rate of about 0.4 m3 / s, forming a pool. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were four temples, pavilions and theatres built here. It was built as Xipu Park in 1942. In 1950, martyrs memorial tower and cemetery were built in the park, and in 1980, planning and renovation were carried out.

Main attractions

In 1980, it was listed as one of the eight key protected scenic spots at the county level. After 1980, the government appropriated special funds for planning and renovation, restoration of pavilions and temples, construction of new scenic spots such as the giant dragon tour in the water of the xilongtan pool, and restoration of the Dragon Boat Festival stage activities in May every year. During the five days of the Dragon Boat Festival every year, more than 50000 people visit the park.
