Sanyuan cave is located on the cliffs of Xihua mountain, about 2km west of Wenshan County, Yunnan Province. It is a natural beautiful and precipitous cave with three parallel openings, so it gets its name. It is said that there were Taoists living in seclusion in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty. Later, in Guangxu period, pavilions and pavilions were built. From the foot of the mountain along the stone steps, there is a broad courtyard with a cross-over gate to the pavilion. You can see the mountains and rivers from afar.
