Mingshan room

Mingshanshi, located in gaogaishan, Qigan village, Dayang Town, Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Mingshanshi is located on Gaogai mountain, which is known as "the first mountain of Yongtai". It faces north from South and has a wooden structure. It is composed of the main hall, Linggui cave, xuepen cave and Guanyin cave.

history

Mingshanshi was first built in the Han Dynasty. It is said that xudeng and Zhao Bing built two stone chambers under the Qilin cliff in the Han Dynasty. Later, they were promoted by Taoism. In the first year of Tang Wende (888), there was a Taoist temple, which was rebuilt in 1926.

Scenery

Gaogaishan is located in Qigan village, Dayang Town, with an altitude of nearly 1000 meters. Mingshanshi is located in the middle of Gaogai mountain.

The main hall is a famous mountain room, which is covered by cliffs and can accommodate hundreds of people. There are two rooms in the East and the West.

Linggui cave, with a 10 meter long and 2 meter high cliff grottoes, is the only remains of "bailianzong" statue in China. "Bailianzong" prevailed in the south of the Yangtze River in the Southern Song Dynasty, and "the seventh ancestor of lianshe" was the ancestor of the sect. Most of the doctrines were not equal to meat and wine, and they were close to good. It is said that Sakyamuni was born and became a Buddha. They include the group paintings of Youguan farming, the shepherdess Xianmi, the birth of the Buddha, the prince's concubine, six years of asceticism, the Buddha's path, Zen River enlightenment, practice and subdue the devil, Er Shang Congshi, Xihui Baodi, Buddha and King Kong. Among them, the seven Buddhas are vividly carved, which is a vivid volume of Buddhist history.

In zushidong, there are ancient buildings with cornices and angles in Song Dynasty. Yu Qianshi, a wise man in the late Qing Dynasty, wrote a couplet in his study, which is thought-provoking.

On the west side, Fengli peak, Xuandi hall and Guanyin Pavilion were built according to the cave. In particular, the stone statue of man Guanyin in Guanyin Pavilion is extremely precious. There is a poem saying that "climbing to the top of the mountain to see the world and realize the dream, the mountain is quiet and the heart is wonderful.". There are many cliff stone carvings, such as "my father-in-law is very fair, my mother-in-law is a mother-in-law".

Cultural relics protection

In 1991, mingshanshi was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. In 2006, it was announced as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.

In the East Room of mingshanshi, there are only relief sculptures in Fujian Province during the song and Yuan Dynasties, and hundreds of figures and animals are still clearly visible. The carvings include Sakyamuni and Buddha series, as well as early remnant carvings. According to Wen Yucheng, a state-level archaeologist, there is a group of Buddha statues in the relief sculptures of the grottoes, which are the only seven Buddha statues of the "white lotus sect" (a religion that spread in the Song Dynasty and has a close relationship with the "white lotus religion"). In addition, the only remaining stone carving of male Guanyin in the Song Dynasty, which was once stolen, is hidden in the Taoist temple of mingshanshi. It is also one of the typical places where Buddhism and Taoism coexist.
