Chongren town

It is located in the northwest of Shengzhou City, 11 kilometers away from the urban area. Chongren ancient villages and towns were founded in Tang Dynasty, rose in Southern Song Dynasty, and flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasties. During the Anti Japanese War, most of Zhejiang was occupied one after another. Only the gentry of Chongren retreated intelligently, and the Japanese invaders avoided trampling on them, becoming "isolated island". In Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Wenzhou and other places, there are more than 280 merchants, and the town construction and commerce are developing rapidly.

The most important buildings in Chongren are: Yushan ancestral hall, the largest ancestral hall of Qiu family, wuliantaimen, a large-scale folk house inhabited by Qiu family, and modern township self-government buildings, such as town offices and courts. The buildings in Chongren are well preserved, and the surrounding historical environment has not been greatly improved. From the original Chongren Town, Furun Town, Guangli Township expansion and formed. It borders Gulai town and Shaoxing County in the north, Shanhu and Lushan streets in the East, Ganlin town in the South and Shihuang town in the West.
