Dafengbao primeval forest scenic spot in Huangshui National Forest Park of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, Chongqing, has the reputation of "green treasure house". Its main peak, 1934 meters above sea level, belongs to Qiyao mountain of Wushan mountain system, with undulating mountains, emerald mountains and ravines. It is known as "fairyland in Eastern Chongqing". It is the highest peak in Shizhu County and the highest peak in Eastern Chongqing, and has the reputation of "the first peak in Eastern Chongqing". Because of the roar of strong wind all the year round, the mountains are big, the trees are big, and the wind blows. When the wind blows, the wind rises, the clouds surge, the forest waves burst, and the mountain wind whines, so it is called "Dafengbao".

In July 2012, Dafengbao primeval forest scenic spot of Huangshui National Forest Park was officially approved as a national AAAA (4a) scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.

Dafengbao primeval forest scenic spot is the core scenic spot of Huangshui National Forest Park and the first national 4A scenic spot in Shizhu County, Chongqing. The planning area of the scenic spot is 21000 hectares. There are more than 20 well-known scenic spots, more than 2000 kinds of rare woody plants, and more than 40 kinds of animals above the national level 2. It is known as the "sea of forest", "prosperous world", "Kingdom of animals" and "paradise of birds".

In 2006, it was rated as "the most beautiful forest" in Chongqing by netizens, and in 2008, it was rated as "one of the 12 scenic spots in Bayu" and named "Huangshui forest sea". In recent years, the scenic area has built a new 7 km walking path, especially the new suspended glass corridor bridge, which has the reputation of "the longest in the world".

There are more than 20 famous natural and cultural landscapes in the scenic area, such as xiaofengbao, woliushi, youcaohe, motianpo, sancengyan, shiziyan, niuchukou ancient Shu Road, wanshengba Tujia residence, xinkaisi site, Dashiqiao, tiaodun River, Bajiaomiao, etc. From Huangshui Town, the hometown of Huanglian, you can drive along national highway 318 to Liangshuijing, and enter the twelve sister peaks observation platform along the scenic highway. Looking from the moon, you can see that the mountains are towering, the mountains are continuous, and the twelve peaks with different looks are like twelve graceful fairies. This is the twelve sister peaks with thousands of scenes. From the Qiligou of wanshengba in the upper reaches of youcaohe River, you can climb to the top of Yuhuang temple and enter the primitive forest of Dafengbao, which is like entering a natural labyrinth and a natural museum. In the primeval forest, the ancient vines hang, and the ground is covered with thick fallen leaves. The vegetation here is very hierarchical, with shrubs and evergreen broad-leaved trees growing at the foot of the mountain, such as Rhododendron, astragalus, Sophora japonica, Ailanthus altissima, kiwifruit, sour plum, acacia, gallnut and other plants; the mountain is covered with Qinggang, beech, chestnut, yew, wild cherry, Pinus, kutao, nanmu, hongdoumu and so on.

Dafengbao is also a sea of flowers, which bloom all year round. In spring, wild peaches are in full bloom. Summer azalea, Magnolia, Begonia, flower clusters, wild fragrance overflowing. Autumn is full of flowers and leaves. In winter, the snow is flying and the plum blossom is in full bloom.

Humanistic tourism

1. Tujia style is a big "tour" point here. Tourists can swim, play, eat and live in Tujia. To any Tujia village in Huangshui National Forest Park, you can enjoy Tujia style stilts, love songs, hand waving dance.

When you come to the Tujia people's home, the host will first offer a bowl of Yinmi tea or Baogu mash, then cook bacon, and treat guests with Douhua. Drinking Za wine is a unique custom of Tujia people, full of strong regional customs and Tujia sentiment.

2. Among them, the suspended glass corridor bridge in the scenic area is an air sightseeing platform with the title of "the best in Asia". It has a unique design and investment of tens of millions of yuan. It is built at an altitude of more than 300 meters from the bottom of the valley, suspended in the air outside the valley wall. The farthest distance is 31 meters from the valley wall, which is 10 meters longer than the glass corridor bridge in Colorado Grand Canyon. Most of the world's longest glass covered bridge has been completed and is expected to be officially opened around July 2012. Citizens can experience it for free by the end of November 2011.

The whole suspended bridge is in the shape of tennis racket. Tourists walk to the racket shaped sightseeing channel through the ball handle, and then return to the ball handle after a tour around the racket shaped bridge. The farthest distance of the bridge is 31 meters from the valley wall. The oval tour channel has a glass fence more than 1 meter high, and the hollow area at the bottom of the canyon is in the middle of the racket. Visitors can overlook the valley bottom more than 300 meters deep and more than 10 kilometers long. You can see the forest sea of Yellow River and twelve sister peaks in the distance; you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of fengfengbao cloud gorge in the near; you can see the flowers blooming in spring, you can enjoy the waves of forest sea in summer, you can see the romantic colorful leaves in autumn, you can enjoy the ice soul and snow soul in winter.

Because the building is unique, so the materials are also unique, such as glass, these materials are custom-made. A piece of 1 square meter glass weighs several hundred jin. The pillar part of the glass corridor bridge is a full steel structure. The guardrail and bottom of the bridge are made of hard toughened laminated safety glass. The glass part of the upper layer of the bridge can be replaced. The biggest difficulty in the construction of the bridge is to drill holes in the air and install the large steel structure support frame of the glass corridor bridge. Professional personnel are required to drill holes in the mid air of the cliff for geological exploration, and then determine the size and depth of the hole. After blasting, the large steel structure is hoisted down for installation and foundation pouring. It is estimated that hundreds of tons of steel are needed. The fengfengbao scenic spot is 1934 meters above sea level. It is windy all the year round. It is full of wind and clouds. The forest is full of waves, so it is named "fengfengbao". Therefore, it is a great challenge of engineering technology to build a suspended glass corridor bridge in the scenic area. The project can withstand strong winds, and it is preliminarily determined that the project can withstand the Richter 6 ~ 7 earthquake. In order to prevent the gale from blowing from all directions, the builder plans to use several steel columns to drive into the rock wall as pier support, and go deep into the rock wall for several meters to ensure the safety of the whole suspended part.

There are a variety of Tujia featured products, mainly including food series products such as Brasenia schreberi, fern root, fern moss, pickled products, wild fungi, Ginkgo biloba, Zajiu, etc.; Chinese herbal medicine series products such as Coptis chinensis, Tujia flower insole, flower ribbon, flower waist and other national clothing series products; and national handicraft series products such as Jinyin inkstone, stone carving and root carving. It contains rich Tujia folk culture.

Ginkgo biloba, chestnut, bamboo fungus and other rare, nutritious, constitute a unique food culture. Tujia people's Yinmi tea, Bashan bacon, Zajiu, Suai, Suai, tofu fish, Brasenia schreberi and Shanjun have unique flavor. Tujia people kill new year pigs every year after the winter solstice, and then store bacon with pine and cypress branches. Tujia people also like to eat bean and bean curd.
