Jiangjunlou Park

Jiangjunlou park is located in the northwest suburb of Golmud City. Its name comes from general Mu Shengzhong, the founder of the city.

The general building in the park is the first building in the Gobi within a thousand miles. It has opened a new era in the history of Golmud.

Next to the general building is a cottage built in the same era, where general Mu Shengzhong lives. Visitors are free to roam outside the building, but all rooms are closed to the public.

In addition, there is a geological museum and a memorial hall in the park to learn about the geological information of Kunlun and the history of Golmud.
