Wanghai building, Dongtou, Wenzhou

Wanghai tower is located in Yandun mountain, 227 meters above sea level on Dongtou island. It is a tourism landmark building in Dongtou. It was built in 434 AD and has a history of more than 1500 years. It has the main building of Wanghai tower, the statue of Yan Yanzhi, the stele corridor of poetry, Tonghui Pavilion, Hongcheng Pavilion and Xinshang Pavilion. The main building is equipped with marine folk culture exhibition hall and viewing hall, which is a window to enjoy the beautiful scenery of hundred islands and the customs of fishing village. In louneile, there are many famous artists such as Qigong, Shen Peng, Han Meilin, Li duo, Zhu guantian and so on. Wanghai building, as the window of Dongtou's history and culture and the first scenic spot of 100 islands' tourism, ranks among the famous buildings in China with its long history, magnificent architecture and rich marine folk culture. It is known as "the first building in Southeast China with a long history". In November 2012, it joined the China Association of famous buildings.
