Fang Yanshan

Fangyan mountain is located 25 kilometers east of Yongkang City. It is famous for its unique rocks and beautiful scenery. It is known as "fairyland on earth". The mountain is pulled up from the flat ground. It is as steep and precipitous as the castle and Fangshan, so it is named Fangyan. The mountain is 384 meters high. Since the Song Dynasty, there has been an endless stream of tourists, which is the first batch of provincial scenic spots. It has been selected as one of the national key scenic spots, national AAAA scenic spots and Zhejiang top ten beauty parks.

Luohan cave

From the southern foot of Fangyan to the mountainside, there is a pavilion called Luohan cave. It is said that the founder of Fangyan, Zen master Zhengde, first practiced here. There is Jiaolong spring beside the cave, with clear water, which is called Fangyan "Hupao spring". Up from Luohan cave, the slope is as steep as a ladder, which is called "baibujun". On the top of the cliff, there is Buyun Pavilion. Although the pavilion is small, it is very exquisite, with "famous mountain living Buddha" on the forehead.

Walking up from the Yunting Pavilion is the "flying bridge". It is a trestle road built by digging holes and building stones on the cliff. The total length is about 50 meters. It is extremely steep with a cliff on the inside and a deep stream on the outside. And then winding up, about six or seven turns, you can see the huge rock, suddenly open.

Tianmen

On the top of the pavilion, people call it "Tianmen", which is magnificent and magnificent. There is a couplet in the pavilion, which says: "the Natural Wonderland looks at the earth, the gate is set up to look at the mountains and rivers.". Climbing on the gate of heaven, you can see the undulating mountains and the misty clouds. It makes you feel like you are floating to the sky. When you step into Tianmen, the mountain is gentle, the stone path is broad, and vendors gather on both sides. It is called "Tianjie", and not far from Guangci temple.

Guangci Temple

According to records, Guangci temple, formerly known as Dabei temple, was first built in the fourth year of Dazhong in Tang Dynasty (850), and was changed to Guangci temple in the second year of Zhiping in Northern Song Dynasty (1065). The building is magnificent, divided into front, middle and back three halls. The back hall is also known as "Pingfeng Pavilion". In the temple, there is Hu Gong hall, which is dedicated to Hu Ze, the Minister of the Ministry of war of the Northern Song Dynasty. He was born in Yongkang with the character of Hu Zizheng. He tried to play a small piece of money to Emperor Renzong, who lived in Quzhou and Wuzhou. The people felt virtuous, so they set up a temple to commemorate it. At the top of the mountain are reading hall, Tingquan tower, qianrenkeng, Jinggu cave, guique Pavilion, and "eyes open".

Surrounding scenic spots

To the north of Fangyan, there is Shoushan mountain. From Fangyan to Tianmen, you can walk to the right of Buyun Pavilion, and along the winding mountain path, you can see "Jingma Benzing", "little monk listening to scriptures" and Shengu Buddha bell. You can watch them while walking. Intoxicating. Shoushan mountain, also known as Wulaofeng, is a deep valley surrounded by wuchongqifeng. The peak rocks are as sharp as a cliff. In the southeast, there is Jiming peak. In the front, there is fufu peak. In the west, there is Taohua peak. In the north, there is waterfall, which is called Waterfall peak. Under it are many caves of different sizes, the largest of which can hold thousands of people. According to the cave by the mountain, there are all kinds of pavilions, unique and ingenious. There are Shoushan temple, Lize temple, Sanxian hall, xueyizhai and Wufeng Academy. Famous scholars Zhu Xi, Chen Liang and LV Donglai of Song Dynasty and yingshimen, Cheng Fangfeng and Cheng Songxi of Ming Dynasty gave lectures here. The three characters of "douhutai" written by Zhu Xi on the precipice of "Chonglou" are still indistinguishable.
