Chinese alligator Village

Chinese alligator village is the second largest Chinese alligator Nature Reserve in China. There are more than 500 alligators, including mother and son lake, crocodile series pool, fishing hall, crocodile paradise, crocodile specimen exhibition room and Chinese alligator resort. The 0.67 hectare breeding farm for Chinese alligators is composed of mother and son lake for Chinese alligators' natural breeding, crocodile series ponds of different ages, fishing hall, alligator paradise and crocodile specimen exhibition room. In the inner ring of the farm are the contemporary "crocodile king of China" and "crocodile glorious mother", who have bred 238 children since 1984.

"Chinese alligator village" is an extension of the original Changxing Chinese alligator reserve, which includes the research center of Chinese alligator natural breeding. In addition to more than 500 Chinese alligators of different sizes, it also adds a new alligator pavilion with Siamese alligators and Nile alligators as the main body, which is divided into four functional areas: natural breeding, leisure, fishing and viewing. It has an alligator viewing building, a fishing platform, a leisure Pavilion, a swimming pool and a swimming pool Green corridor, green bamboo teahouse and so on, form a unique style of "terrace Pavilion leisure, corridor bridge Xuanfang" and other Jiangnan ancient garden landscape. In the evening, sound and light facilities are also provided to make visitors feel the natural atmosphere and strong local cultural atmosphere like a paradise in the roar of crocodiles and birds.

Alligators, dinosaurs and pterosaurs originated from the same ancestor, and have been breeding since Mesozoic. According to the investigation, Alligator sinensis only exists in China, and the distribution area is narrow and the quantity is rare. Yinjiabian in Changxing has a quiet environment, mild climate and rich food, which is most suitable for the reproduction of Chinese alligator. Alligator sinensis can provide scientific basis for the study of global issues such as continental drift and biological evolution, which is of great significance for the protection of biodiversity and the maintenance of ecological balance.
