Xihu mountain, also known as Juhu mountain, is located in the west of Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province, near Liuhe river.

On the mountain, there is Baogong temple, which was built in Yuan Dynasty. High ranking officials and common people often climb mountains to pray. It was destroyed and rebuilt. The old site is forever. After 12 years of reconstruction, the temple has a new appearance. At the foot of the mountain, there are many cultural landscapes, such as immortal stone, tiger cave, Biejia Temple (established in memory of general Yixiong of Zhongmin Hou in Jin Dynasty), Yijing Pavilion (poems written by scholars Zhu Xi and Yang Wanli in Southern Song Dynasty).

In 2003, Liuyang municipal government built a new tower at the top of xihushan Park, named "Juhu tower". The tower is 72 meters high, with octagonal eaves and nine stories of attic. You can have a bird's-eye view of Liuyang City from the top.

In the square garden of Xihu mountain, there are five temples, including Baogong temple, Jiangda Xianren temple, Guanyin temple and Shidong nunnery. At present, xihushan Forest Park is facing re planning. The total planned land area is 4.5 square kilometers, starting from Liuyang River in the south, Shangzhou road in the north, huaichuan River in the East, outer ring road in the west, surrounded by the city on three sides and water on one side. From the current situation, the terrain of the park is undulating, with lush forests and bamboos, clear springs and lush vegetation. Thousands of newly planted Myrica rubra, Schima superba, duying and Osmanthus fragrans will greatly improve the quality of environmental resources in xihushan.
