Chian Village

Chian village, Shexian County, Handan City, Hebei Province, is an old revolutionary base. More than 110 party and government organs and units, such as the government of the Shanxi Hebei Shandong Henan border region, the headquarters of the 129th division of the Eighth Route Army, North China Xinhua radio station and Xinhua Daily, have been stationed here for a long time. Chian village of Shexian county has two marshals and more than 360 generals, known as "the cradle of China's second generation of leadership core".

Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping successfully carried out a series of battles in Handan, such as Longhai and Dingtao. It has created favorable conditions for the field army to March South and liberate the whole of China. The North China finance and Economics Conference and the meeting of Liu Deng's army's expedition to the South were held here. It is also the birthplace of the people's daily and the printing place of the first volume of selected works of Mao Zedong.

Chian village is located 4 kilometers northeast of Shexian County, close to shezuo highway. The village has 870 households, 2806 people, 1600 mu of arable land and an annual per capita income of 2810 yuan. The main economic sources of the village are red tourism, seedling planting and greenhouse vegetables. Shexian is one of the first demonstration villages of Civilized Ecology.
