Yangzhou has "Shuangning" -- Tianning Temple and Chongning temple. Chongning, located near Tianning Temple, is one of the eight famous temples in Yangzhou in Qing Dynasty. Built in 1784, Xianfeng was destroyed by war, Tongzhi was rebuilt, and Guangxu was rebuilt. The Eastern garden has been destroyed. The existing Tianwang hall, main hall, Wenchang Pavilion and monk's room have a construction area of more than 2000 square meters. The main hall is five rooms wide with a double eaves on the top of Xieshan mountain. The hall is made of iron chestnut wood columns. The ceiling and caisson are well painted. There are plaques inscribed by Emperor Gaozong Hongli of the Qing Dynasty and the stele of Wanshou Chongning temple.
