Shengli Oilfield Exhibition Center

Shengli Oilfield science and Technology Exhibition Center is located in the prosperous area of Xicheng, Dongying City, 8 km away from Dongqing expressway, 1.5 km away from Dongying railway station and 25 km away from Dongying airport. It covers an area of 15000 square meters, with a construction area of 6600 square meters and a total investment of more than 50 million yuan. It is a comprehensive activity place integrating petroleum geology, science and Technology Museum appreciation, science and technology exhibition, demonstration, technology, knowledge, cultural exchange, trade and leisure appreciation. The science and Technology Exhibition Center has three exhibition halls: oilfield development history hall, exploration and development hall and science and technology achievement hall. It tells the development history of Shengli Oilfield in the past 40 years, the history of exploration and development and the ten major scientific and technological achievements it has made. The hall displays more than 2000 specimens, objects, exhibition openings, models and historical materials, as well as fossils, specimens and objects of scientific value, and demonstration models that tourists can participate in. Since its opening to tourists in June 2000, the science and Technology Exhibition Center has been widely concerned and praised by people from all walks of life. It has become a high-grade tourist attraction integrating Museum, demonstration, exhibition and leisure. In July 2001, it was identified as the first batch of AA scenic spots.
