The mural of Huo's tomb, originally located in houhaizi Zhongzhai, about 20 li away from Zhaotong City, was unearthed in 1963 and moved to the urban area in 1965. This tomb is the only mural tomb found in Yunnan, which provides a vivid basis for the study of the relationship between Yunnan and the Central Plains in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the integration of Han and Yi, the Yi and Han tribes, as well as clothing, architecture and customs. The mural of Huo's tomb is a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level.

The Huo family is one of the "nanzhong family names" in the Three Kingdoms and two Jin Dynasties. Huo Chengsi, the owner of the tomb, was a descendant of Huo Jun and Huo Yi. He once lived in Jianning, Yuecui and Xinggu prefectures of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He was also a prefect of Nanyi and a governor of Jiaozhou and ningzhou. He was appointed as the Marquis of Chengdu county. The tomb is square, made of rectangular sand and stone, 3 meters long and 2.20 meters high. Cultural relics in the tomb have been stolen for a long time. Murals with rich themes are painted on the four walls of the tomb. Among them are the tomb owner, servant, family member, bu Qu, Jin Tong, Yu Nu and other characters. There are heaven, earth, sun, moon, green dragon, white tiger, rosefinch, deer, three legged bird and tiger with human face. There are also ethnic minorities with "Heaven Bodhisattva" bun, felt and barefoot, which are similar to those of today's Yi people in Daliangshan and Xiaoliangshan It's the same.
