Introduction to Zhuge Liang

Zhuge Liang, whose name is Kongming, was born in Yangdu of Langya (now Yinan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province). He was the Prime Minister of Shuhan Dynasty and an outstanding statesman, strategist, inventor and militarist in the Three Kingdoms period. At the age of 15, he attached himself to Liu Biao with his uncle's husband and began to cultivate Longmu in Longzhong (now Xiangyang City, Hubei Province), which lasted for 12 years.

The bronze statue is made of red copper. The height of the figure is 14 meters, the width is 10 meters, and the weight is 35 tons. The whole bronze statue, together with the base, is about 18 meters high. It was designed by Professor Sun Wei, a famous designer of the Central Academy of fine arts, and produced by the Central Academy of fine arts. Zhugeliang square bronze sculpture project is an important part of Zhugeliang square starting area project construction, is the landmark landscape of the whole square. Standing in the square, the bronze statue of Zhuge Liang holds his head high and a fan in his right hand. His eyes are bright and his mind is strategic.
