Zhoujing Bridge

It is located in haonongkou, Dongmen street, Chengxiang Town, Taicang City, across zhihetang. It was built in the first year of Yuan Dynasty (1330). It was formerly known as Haimen first bridge, also known as nanzhoujing bridge. It is a three hole stone arch bridge, 17.26 meters long, 5.18 meters high and 4.7 meters wide. The North hole has been silted and cold, and the bridge body is built of bluestone. The arch stone is engraved with the name list of the bridge builders and the time of the bridge construction. Five characters of "the first bridge in Haimen" are engraved on the central floor stone. Various patterns are carved on the four stones and the stone railings on both sides of the bridge. A 3-meter-long Longmen stone in the middle of the bridge deck is engraved with eight trigrams. The bridge has been built for more than 650 years and is still in good condition.
