There are two Ginkgo trees, one male and one female, at the entrance of fenbang Lane in Xitang town. It was planted in Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, more than 600 years ago. The old stems of Ginkgo are whirling and the branches and leaves are luxuriant. The male ginkgo is 13.5 meters high, surrounded by 3.92 meters; the female ginkgo is 9.35 meters high, surrounded by 3.08 meters. Lu bang was born in Xitang and had been a Dutang. He was an upright official with profound knowledge. He was a teacher of Zhao Wenhua, the imperial envoy of the Ming Dynasty. It is said that Lu Bang's house was built by Zhao Wenhua with the surplus bricks used to supervise the construction of Jiashan City wall. The site is now yujianong under the South shed of Xitang. The tomb is now nowhere to be found, leaving only the stone man stone horse and the two old ginkgo trees around the tomb, which still stand here to confirm this period of history.
